Travel to learn. Small groups, since 2008.
EduRetreat is a travelling (un)conference. Small groups of educators, scholars and curious minds learn from the people, projects and places they visit.
“To travel with EduRetreat is to ride a magic carpet to places you did not know you deeply needed to visit.”
George Forman, Emeritus Professor, University of Massachusetts Amherst
“Thank you to you all for making the trip such an amazing adventure, one that will prove to be professionally significant.”Jo White, Head of Centre, London
“If you want creativity, cut one zero from the budget. If you want sustainability, cut two zeros.”Jaime Lerner
Why India keeps calling us back
In a complex world there is nothing truer for the sensitive educator than a clear call to blend intellect and intuition. Over millennia India has nurtured deeply intuitive ways of learning, immortalised in the teachings of Aurobindo, Gandhi, Tagore and J. Krishnamurti, all of whom held a wide, far-reaching and peaceful vision for humanity.

Every EduRetreat starts with me deep in a forest of possibilities, weaving together a couple of weeks for a small group of enthusiastic minds from around the world.
What I can promise is the cultural and adventurous charm, the provocations and the reflections that make these journeys what they are.
If you're interested, or only curious, write to me. You have my personal invitation.
